Sergey Kravchenko, immunologist, Secretary of the Ukrainian National Medical Ass'n: "Since 2014, there's been a downfall in the procurement process of medications, medical equipment, and immunobiological drugs, such as vaccines and serums. In 2015, 2016, 2017, the procurement also failed. In 2018, it hasn't even started". Parents refuse to take their kids to Daycare no.7 in Nikolayev. One of the nannies has been diagnosed with tuberculosis. "I'm curious why the whole daycare wasn't disinfected, instead of just one classroom". Zakarpatskaya Oblast also reported a TB outbreak amongst children. Vasily Skrip, Medical Director, Zakarpatskiy Regional Tuberculosis Dispensary: "This is the worst case of the disease level in 20 years. Last year, we had 17 extreme TB cases among children".
