Trump Almost Sets Off War With Bizarre Tweeting Spree - Is This Another 4D Chess Maneuver?

Evening with Vladimir Solovyov - Big politics is now done through Twitter. Today, Donald Trump woke up and decided to seal the fate of the world. At first, he was like: "Get ready Russia, missiles will be coming." The missiles are supposed to be "smart." This single message crashed the world stock exchange. His next tweet about our relations being worse than during the Cold War ended with: "Stop the arms race." Now, people got confused. What does Trump want? Then, there was the third message which said that all issues of our hysteric relations are due to the investigation on Trump. The world community was lost completely. We'd need a separate episode to understand what Trump truly wants although we could discuss it now. But why did Theresa May deny him a joint military operation in Syria? And most importantly, Trump seemed so astonished after writing those tweets that the US launched their "doomsday plane" just in case. Perhaps someone explained to him that his first message almost triggered the Third World War. And it was no accident that the US media said that they had been expecting a doomsday prophecy to show up anywhere except Twitter. Well, they elected him, now it's time to reap the fruits. Just to prove I haven't made anything up here are all three of Trump's tweets. Here they are. "Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get Ready Russia, they'll be coming nice and new and "smart!" You shouldn't be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!" It seems he woke up early and didn't have breakfast yet. A bit later: "Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War. There's no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?" At that point, I got confused. Hadn't he just imposed sanctions against us? And the last one: "Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia investigation headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein). No Collusion, so they go crazy!" Wow. Professional Russian diplomats were astonished. Dimitri Peskov said: "We're not used to Twitter-diplomacy. We still prefer real diplomacy". Today, when Putin was presenting diplomatic credentials he managed to find the right words to comment on the situation. Vladimir Putin: "The situation in the world is a cause for concern. The world's becoming more chaotic. Still, we hope that common sense will prevail international relations will get back on a constructive track and the world system will become stable and predictable". - Russia remains self-composed. The reason for that might be that our leadership doesn't use Twitter. - Doesn't horse around. - It doesn't. Still, the situation is rather alarming. Isn't it, Mr. Kurginyan? Sergey Kurginyan, political analyst: Very alarming. Well, Twitter and Trump are our reality. It's all real. The person who's lashing around is real. And great power is vested in that person. That person is rather narcissistic: "My missiles, so nice and new!" He aestheticizes them. It makes him seem not quite rational. His behavior is rather irrational. It means we are the hostages of the situation. And he's not alone, look at the UN willing to dismiss the Security Council overstep the redlines destroy the international system, and so on and so forth. That's why I fully support the statement of the Russian President about the lingering hope that our world will get back on a constructive track. I suggest considering two options: either it will or it won't. It might get back on track but it might also fail. And we probably all hope that it will and Russia will assist it in doing so. But what if it doesn't? What if it doesn't get back on track? What shall we expect then? It wouldn't be over after their stunts in Syria. And what are they trying to achieve in Syria? You see, the worst feature of the American strategy is that they are trying to shift something without paying the required price. We have been talking about it since before 2008. You want to have a firmer grip on the world? Deploy 300,000 soldiers to Iraq, 400,000 to Iran and get ready to go to Pakistan. Pay the price. You're constantly trying to be an empire. Well, pay with dozens of thousands of coffins, rebuild your entire economy, change your professional army for a conscription one. Pay the price. But they won't. And what are they doing instead? They are doing all that funny stuff with their missiles that will ultimately destabilize the world but won't give them any real power. They won't get any power form that. They'll bomb several airfields and create new jobs for construction companies. They might receive some dividends from it but that's it. Let's assume they'll accomplish everything they wanted. What did they get by destabilizing Syria? They made Iran immensely stronger. Iran is becoming the supreme power in the region. Is that what they wanted? They gave Iraq to them they helped finish the Shia Arc. The formerly peaceful Golan Heights now accommodate Hezbollah and Iranian troops which scare the hell out of Israel. They destabilized North Africa so it can't recover. How would they follow up? Putin says the world's becoming more chaotic. But who spreads the chaos? And what else can it become when you are not willing to pay the price for controlling the world but don't want to lose control. They are lashing between these two polar positions and it makes their empty chatter into systematic madness.
